Brno, Czech Republic --- September 25, 2024, Y Soft, a leading provider of enterprise office solutions, announces the launch of the No Print Management (NPM) mobile experience—an all-in-one mobile application designed to modernize users' interactions with print services. This new app combines the functionalities of several existing Y Soft mobile applications into a single, intuitive interface.

Submit Jobs from One On-Prem and Cloud Print Application

The No Print Management (NPM) Mobile Experience is Y Soft’s next-generation app, designed to unify and enhance the mobile user experience across our SAFEQ 6 and SAFEQ Cloud products. The on-prem and cloud print application provides seamless and mobile-first functionalities, some available immediately and some coming soon.

Currently, the mobile printing application allows you to:

  • Submit print jobs to be released at a printer or MFP
  • Submit print jobs with your chosen finishing options
  • View waiting, printed, and favorite print jobs
  • Delete documents you no longer need to print

The application and mobile experience align with Y Soft’s NPM core value, reducing the IT burden by enabling self-service connections to the SAFEQ system with minimal IT intervention.

  

Here's what to expect as an existing SAFEQ user:

  • SAFEQ 6 Users: The new app is a revamp of the old SAFEQ 6 mobile app. To update it, go to your application store. After that, you'll see that the app has undergone a facelift and flashes a new icon.

  • SAFEQ Cloud Users: This is a totally new app for you. We announced the EOL of EveryonePrint Mobile back in April 2023, and the YSoft SAFEQ application is taking its place. Scan the QR code on your SAFEQ Cloud profile and download the pre-configured app for iOS or Android there.

Allow Guests to Self-Register to Print

With the new SAFEQ Cloud enhancements, we bring back guest printing to cloud customers. The on-prem and cloud print application allows customers to enable self-service account creation for guests. Guests are then enabled to self-register for a temporary user account via the Web user interface, allowing them to submit and release print jobs conveniently.

 

The process is secure, relying on the verification of the guest's email address for authentication. Once authenticated, guest users can submit jobs via web upload, the mobile app, or PC Client and can login at the printer or MFP to release their jobs.
