AirPrint: Printer Duplicated on iOS Device
How to Resolve Duplicate AirPrint Printers on Your iOS Device Effortlessly
Issue:
On the iOS device, one device shows twice when browsing AirPrint to select a printer.
Reason: the same name has been given to Mobile Print Setting -> Printer name, which is a 'virtual' print queue for mobile printing, as an existing device.
Resolution:
Change the name in Mobile Print Settings -> Printer name and restart the EveryonePrint Mobile Gateway service.
Note: the "-" sign is stripped out when publishing the AirPrint device, so Printer-A becomes PrinterA.
